It looks like we won’t make it to a Mad Max era. No monster cars in the future, because by then, fuel would be too expensive that no one will be driving anymore, because it just won’t be practical. We might probably do some commuting through a pressurized tube, Futurama style.
Which makes kids interesting. They make these “vroom-vroom” noises while playing with toy cars, and it’s too sad to think that, 15 to 30 years from now, they might not EVEN be allowed to drive. Unless, of course, the automobile manufacturers cook up a way to turn alternative energies possible to make cars fast, powerful and ‘cool’ again.
