5 effortless recipes on-the-go
When we go to work, we would hardly have any time to prepare the food that we’ll be bringing to work (breakfast or lunch). And I do not really like to buy food outside, because it would cost me a lot to eat out every time and we all know that eating out isn’t a healthy option. So sometimes, rather than eating out or munching on those yummy microwaveable treats, we have to learn to come up with easy-to-cook meals that we could easily prepare and take with us to work, and get to work on time. So here are some of the meals I would take with me:
1. Egg with Onions and Sausage with Rice
The sausage is really easy to prepare, you could either fry it, or just heat it in the microwave (make sure to heat this well, if ever this is what you decide to do). As for the egg with onions, it’s really just similar to making scrambled eggs, but you’ll have to add onions (peeled and diced) as you fry it. Except you won’t have to add salt, because the taste of the onion will mix into the egg, giving it a bit of a sweet flavor to it.

2. Spam with Rice
Another meal that’s really easy to prepare. Just simply slice the spam, fry it (just be careful not to make it too oily!), and it’s done!

3. Cheese Omelet with Rice
This one is really simple. I remember the first time I tasted this was when we went to a beach, and this was what I had for breakfast. And it’s just easy to make! It’s similar with making scrambled eggs; just add grated cheese before beating the egg. And it tastes good with ketchup!

4. Egg Fried Rice
This one is pretty easy to cook. Just simply fry green onions, green peppers, together with the cooked rice, and egg (you can pretty much add anything you like, bits of chicken or pork, cabbage or spinach, crabmeat or fish) in butter. This is similar to the food being served in chinese rice-in-a-box stalls we see in fast food areas, except here, we get to create our own variation.

5. Instant Noodles with egg
Out of everything, I think everyone would agree that this is probably the easiest to cook. This is what I would take to work when there I really have no time, or sometimes for the simple reason that I’m craving for it. Just add an egg and voila! Yummy food with little preperation time! Not healthy though.
