You know what could be the worst thing in a career woman’s life? Obviously, it’s leaving the job she learned to love. I am getting that feeling right now. It’s like taking away a candy from a kid wherein the kid just can’t do anything but, adults don’t cry like a kid. That is the only difference.

I am leaving my current work and I will be very busy in the next few days (or months… or years…) searching for a new one. As we all know, If you are 40 and above, you would already have a hard time finding a new job and changing your lifestyle.

On a brighter side, I could get up and face a different challenge and environment so I could learn more. Of course, I dread the office politics that I would have to go through again.

This is just the way life is. One day you are secure, the next day, you’re like a newly graduated teen scavenging for work to make a living. No more happy days of blogging like crazy in whatever topics I want since I need to adjust AGAIN.

I will just see you around the blogging world. I will try my best to update and just not freeze like this girl.

I do not want to sound like a teacher here but, I will teach you, how to value your wife, the way you should really value her. Sometimes, men think that, because they are married already, they can do whatever they want and sometimes, this would be misinterpreted by the wife, thus, creating a gap between them which would start fights and arguments.
Occasional bickering is fine but, when you reach the point where you argue everyday and you already hate to come home because you would just fight, that is a no-no.

Here is what every husband must do:

1.    Reminisce
I am sure every women would agree that they would want to reminisce their firsts. First dates, first kiss, first whatever! Treat her out occasionally and be with her from time to time, alone! Of course by alone I mean, no kids, no friends or other family members and most of all, no in laws! Agree, girls?

2.    Pamper
It is just natural for a girl to want to look pretty. Treat her and yourself to a private spa room where you both can relax and smell the scented candle while listening to a relaxing music while being pampered with a masseuse.

3.    Appreciate
If you wife is working or staying at home, appreciate it! It is not an easy job to manage the entire household. If she is working, be thankful and whip up a surprise romantic dinner or breakfast in bed. This would spice up your relationship

Remember, get out of your routinely relationship wherein she cooks breakfast, you go to office, you come home to eat dinner and sleep. That is just plain boring. Here is a short story to ponder upon.

A priest held up a 100 dollar bill and was offering to give it away. Almost everyone raised their hands and wanted to claim it. He then crumpled the hundred dollar bill after offering, hands decreased. The priest, trampled on the bill and for the third time, asked everyone who wanted it. No one raised their hands.

The priest then said, look at what just happened. The bill is just like your wife. She gets old and her looks will change. But whatever happens, you should still love her as she is. Her value doesn’t change like the hundred dollar bill.

That my folks are the ways you should treat your wife.

Life is but a dream that we have to wake up to. To dream is to hope that one day, we will wake up with our dreams coming to life. Wedding, is one of the dreams every girl has ever since a girl was still young playing Barbie dolls with Ken as her husband. In reality, there is no perfect marriage. What you can achieve is near perfect wedding with the right mixture of, preparation, decision making and prayers.

An alternative that you can do to make your dream wedding come to life is to add a unique touch in it. Everyone has surely attended a wedding and most people just enjoy eating or socializing. Here are some suggestions to make your wedding more unique and memorable:

1.    Personalized Tissue
I know what you are thinking right now. This is an additional cost. This is well worth it in my opinion because not everyone has this gimmick on their wedding reception. Besides, it won’t be that expensive. Of course, use elegant colors and it is better if the letterings of your initials are embedded rather than just printed.

2.    Photo guest book
Rather than passing around a guess book that you will hardly look at again, buy a Polaroid camera and as they enter, let someone take their photos and sign their messages at the back of the photo. This way, you can have your  photo album  of guests who attended and this is definitely something you still will look at fifty years after without wondering about the identity of the writer because you cannot comprehend his hand writing!

3.    Live streaming
Since this is the new millennium, I suggest that you get yourself a mobile broadband internet (even if it’s prepaid) and setup a live streaming video of your wedding via the web camera. This way, your friends and family from abroad can still see you at the reception / church even if they are at the opposite side of the world.

Just do not over do the uniqueness or else it will be one of those weird weddings!

More likely we have all seen someone who needed a little help with their makeup skills and maybe a few whose makeup made them a little bit scary. I am once guilty of that but I have improved and just want to share a few tips I’ve learned myself and a few my girl friends shared.

1. When it comes to blush, more is better.

False: Too much blush is bad. The key is making it look very natural rather than you having people think your cheeks are doubling as stoplights. Choose a blush that has a peachy pink shade. This hue will look great on anyone and will natural on your cheeks.

2. Use a foundation that is one shade lighter or darker than your skin tone.

True: Women sometimes choose a foundation that is the wrong color for their skin. The key is making sure you find a color that matches the rest of your skin tone. Pick a color that seems to disappear into your skin. This will ensure that you look natural instead of like you painted your face.

3. It’s perfectly ok to use a dark lipliner.

False: Unless you want to appear as if you were just sipping hot chocolate, you should stay away from lipliners that are too dark. It sticks out and leaves a ring around your lips unless you wear an equally dark lipstick. Choose a lighter color.

4. Always blend the eyeliner and eye shadow.

True: One thing you want to avoid when putting on makeup is the appearance of lines. You don’t want to look like you drew or painted your face again, right? One way to do it right is to blend, blend and blend. Make sure you blend your foundation down your neck so you do not have lines around your face.

5. Don’t sleep with your makeup still on.

True: Another makeup mistake to avoid is going to sleep with the whole thing still on. Make sure that you wash it off. If you leave your makeup on all night, not only will it get on your sheets, but will also clog your pore which can lead to breakouts.

Even though preggers and all, I still make it a point to put a little blush and a lip gloss once in a while but as I see myself in the mirror,I tend to look more in my growing belly and become amaze at the life inside it and when I see m face, it seems I’m emanating a different glow, a glow that even my most-can’t live makeup accessory can’t give.
