I mean, honestly, after Ren & Stimpy, Rocko’s Modern Life, The Adventures of Pete & Pete and old Rugrats, I’ve always wondered what keeps kids these days glued to Nickelodeon. (Yes, I used to watch Clarissa!)
Nickelodeon will be going off-air on September 27, noon to 3 PM (EST/PST) to encourage kids to get away from the tv and computers so that they could go out and play.
This is Nick’s first effort in addressing the obesity issue that we’re facing today.
Well, my little one’s still too young for that, and he’s pretty much hooked on the Spongebob DVD.

Lehman Brothers — the fourth largest investment bank filed for bankruptcy. For one, this is a time of uncertainty in more ways than one. We are on the verge of getting someone new to lead the country; making the market a very unstable place.
In the financial industry, when the strength of a bank depends on how stable the the market ground it is standing on, and Lehman Brothers is simply the next to get shaken off.
What’s next is a lot of speculation, and, possibly, the crash of the US investment system. We could always get future insurance, although there is that AIG thing…
