Life is but a dream that we have to wake up to. To dream is to hope that one day, we will wake up with our dreams coming to life. Wedding, is one of the dreams every girl has ever since a girl was still young playing Barbie dolls with Ken as her husband. In reality, there is no perfect marriage. What you can achieve is near perfect wedding with the right mixture of, preparation, decision making and prayers.
An alternative that you can do to make your dream wedding come to life is to add a unique touch in it. Everyone has surely attended a wedding and most people just enjoy eating or socializing. Here are some suggestions to make your wedding more unique and memorable:

1. Personalized Tissue
I know what you are thinking right now. This is an additional cost. This is well worth it in my opinion because not everyone has this gimmick on their wedding reception. Besides, it won’t be that expensive. Of course, use elegant colors and it is better if the letterings of your initials are embedded rather than just printed.

2. Photo guest book
Rather than passing around a guess book that you will hardly look at again, buy a Polaroid camera and as they enter, let someone take their photos and sign their messages at the back of the photo. This way, you can have your photo album of guests who attended and this is definitely something you still will look at fifty years after without wondering about the identity of the writer because you cannot comprehend his hand writing!

3. Live streaming
Since this is the new millennium, I suggest that you get yourself a mobile broadband internet (even if it’s prepaid) and setup a live streaming video of your wedding via the web camera. This way, your friends and family from abroad can still see you at the reception / church even if they are at the opposite side of the world.
Just do not over do the uniqueness or else it will be one of those weird weddings!
Have you ever heard the name Ophelia? No offense but I don’t find that appealing to my ears. Everyone has a name. It is a certain label one gives to either humans, animals, things and places to be able to distinguish one from the other, although sometimes there are people who have pretty much the same names.
Each person has the freedom to give any name they wants. Just like any parent naming their new born baby. And because of this freedom, it is hard to avoid those who would give names that are really unique, hence, weird. But everybody should keep in mind that the tag name ‘weird’ is only an opinion, and not a fact. The list below shows some of the weird names one could name their child, or their pets, or anything for that matter.
1. Quadrilateral/Equilateral/Parallelogram/Trapezoid (Polygons)
Ever imagined this? Your kid don’t even have to write his name on the quiz paper. Just draw shapes and voila! There goes his name. To tell you the truth, there are some people who could name their children after the different polygons. I wonder what Pythagoras sons name was.
2. Precious
Reminds me Lord of the Rings. This name isn’t really a unique name. But it is in this list because there are some people who name their child Precious, which is a name normally given to pets, specifically dogs!

3. Sapphire/Opal/Diamond/Turquoise (stones)
Yes, we all know that your child is valuable to you. So precious, that you would name them after stones? Please don’t. They might confuse it with their real birth stones. But nowadays, there are already quite a few people who were named after the different precious stones such as Pearl and Crystal. But to name someone or something after the other strones such as the ones named above would be weird, and hard to give a nickname to!
4. Mercury/ Mars/Pluto (planets)
Although everybody would probably know Disney’s popular dog named just like the 9th and smallest planet, Pluto, it would be very weird to give this name to a person. Naming a person after the planets we have would definitely be weird! By the way, Pluto is not considered a planet already.

5. Tangerine/Strawberry/Orange/Banana/Melon (fruits)
There are some fruits given to people as names that aren’t weird. An example of this would be the name Cherry or Apple. But this does not mean that naming humans after fruits wouldn’t be so weird, such as the ones above.
If you name your kid from one of the choices above, you can be pretty sure it will be 90% unique. Unique is not always best but with a little creativity, you might set a new trend in baby naming for the future.
Happiness is defined as an emotion associated with feelings ranging from contentment and satisfaction to bliss and intense joy. There are different ways that can make people happy. They can be for different reasons, either tangible or intangible. What will leave most of us in high spirits ? I believe these 3 things are what would make us put on out best smiles, just like when our photographs are being taken.

Making a lot of wealth while doing very small amount of work
Since humans are materialistic, we love buying things and eating in different restaurants. We would beyond doubt need a lot of money to be able to keep up with the lifestyle we want to live. Making a lot of money while doing minimal work would be fun, since I’d have so much time just relaxing and enjoying life spending like there’s no tomorrow.

Good relationships with loved ones
It’s only normal that we have some relationships that we have been burned. Although it is true that we can’t expect to get along with everyone, who wouldn’t want a world where everyone gets along right? I personally would want to get along with everyone if I could! And I would also want to be able to keep all the relationships I’ve made, if possible.

Stable health/Healthy
We have always been scared of finding out that we have some sort of deadly disease. And though we would want to be cured, even me, I would be really terrified to get cured because that entails you to knowing what deadly sickness you have and the worst part? People around you would also know. What I do not want about this is friends throwing sympathy on me. You know what would be nice? We all want to eat and do anything we want without having to worry about getting sick. This would really take away a few of the things I worry about.
PlayStation 1 was released in the market in the year 1996. And even if there have been other PlayStation versions released in the market today, there are plenty of games that made their mark and became famous in PlayStation 1 and are still played by gamers today. Thus, these games will continue to be all-time favorites or classics to most players everywhere. Here are some of my son’s favorite PlayStation1 games that never grew old to him.

1. Metal Gear Solid
This adventure game of epic proportions has already been in this industry for more than two years now, and still continues to send chills down players’ spines! Metal Gear Solid is all about stealth. Why bother fighting with enemies or guards, when you can easily just sneak around behind their backs, crawl along walls, stay out of sight from surveillance cameras and hide behind boxes? In this game, players have learned one simple lesson: living by the gun means dying by the gun.

2. Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VII is considered one of the finest role-playing games, and at the same time, one of the best Japanese RPGs in years. It has achieved a striking balance of old and new, and juggled fan service with pure role-playing satisfaction. These characteristics have been shaped into such an appealing and emotionally affecting prequel that players have learned to empathize with the characters, both old and new, no matter how evil, complex or troubled they may be.

3. Legend of the Dragoon
Another RPG that relies heavily on defending that was released by Sony after Final Fantasy VII hit the streets, Legend of the Dragoon tried to avoid using magic altogether. Instead, it relied on the character having to gain strength to be able to perform stronger attacks and eventually have the ability to transform into Dragoons. It is only as a Dragoon where you can use magic.

4. Tony Hawk Pro Skater
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater takes a more arcade-like approach to the world of skating with the objective of collecting videotapes (just like how Mario collects stars). It features real-life pro skaters who have slightly different tricks, with each skater having their own special trick as well. It’s really one of those games that will keep you coming back long after you’ve mastered it already.

5. Tekken
Known as the classic PlayStation fighter, Tekken is a next generation brawler classic. Even if there has had plenty of versions of this game already, Tekken is still considered an excellent game in its own right, and everyone would agree that even if the backgrounds are flat and lifeless, the action and control are smooth and the characters look pretty good in a basic sort of way. All in all, it is an excellent game, and it still deserves to be regarded as such.
Well, as my son always say, “Old games never die. Nor they fade away.” Good job for all those out there who still own the working original Sony PlayStation. Do you still have a “working” one?
Kids can say or do the darnest of things. These things can either bring smiles to our faces, or could piss us off. But we have to admit, we went through the same silliness back when we were still kids. I for one am guilty of doing ridiculous things!

1. Beg to death - Back then, I would always cry for the simplest of reasons. It’s not that I would want to make my parents life a living hell, but, I am customized to get what I always wanted. If I want a toy that they wouldn’t give me, I would cry out loud until they do. I realized now that I was a spoiled kid and I hope they don’t do that to me in the future when I am the one taking care of them already.
2. Office calls - I habitually call my dad or mom’s office from time to time and when someone answers the phone, I would just say, “where is my mom?”, her secretary would just hand over the phone to my mom because she knows me. One day, his boss answered the phone. Good thing he was witty and as I remember it clearly, he said to me, “There is no one here by that name (Mommy)”.

3. Playing with anything – We as kids would play with anything. We like to touch to satisfy the urge of our curious minds. One day at the mall, we were at the department store and while mom was choosing a dress, I went to the side where there were small rooms with cloth doors. I know you know what that is and guess what? I ran from one door to another, opening those cloth curtains without knowing that those were fitting rooms. The guys there must have thanked me a lot!
4. Pets – Kids like pets, especially dogs. But having a mom who doesn’t like one make kids sad and missing the opportunity to play with one, kids consider alternatives. We have this love bird and of course, I have to attach a string to the bird’s feet so it wouldn’t fly away. Since I can’t play with the bird like a dog, I attached the bird to a remote controlled vehicle just like in one of the Home Alone series and throttled it away. I guess the birds in the movies are not as wise as it is in reality. It got dragged and was killed. I told my mom a cat ate it. Lame excuse, I know.

5. Curiosity – Kids are very curious about anything and as I’ve mentioned in one of the numbers above, kids like to touch everything and ask about anything. Outside the school, there was 2 stray dogs humping like there was no tomorrow. We just stood there watching them without knowing what the hell they are doing. At home, I described it to my mom and she said that they were making puppies. One night, I saw my parents room open and guess what, they were making… Puppies!!!
Of course, the last one was made up and is just something to laugh at. But then, I simply laugh at myself as I remember these things. Just imagine how embarrassing I was to my mom! But hey, because I was still a kid back then, the excuse of being childish is always valid.
