Ever had a headache? Weight problem? Anything of the sort? There’re alternatives to taking unnatural medicines — so here’s a couple of my favorite home remedies.
H2O – That’s water to you non-periodic-table-believing folks. You’ve all heard that drinking tons of it will do the body good. It’s true. For one, the body needs to flush out toxins and whatnot during the day. It helps keep the urine pale, and believe me, the body removes about 10-12 cups of water through the skin — food provides 2 to 4 cups of water already, you just need to supplement it with 8 more glasses. For two, it’s cheaper, (sometimes free!) and has NO calories. How great is that?!
Air – We need it to survive. Contrary to non-scientific belief, every cell in the body needs oxygen. It just starts with the lungs and extends to all parts of the body via the blood. Improper breathing takes away several things — memory, creativity, concentration. Surprisingly, even though everyone breathes, not everyone knows how to breath properly. When you breathe in, your abdominal muscles should be protruding and when exhaling, should be flattened out. Breathe through the nose so that the air passes through the nasal membranes, which help filter out the air that we take in. Remember to let out a little ‘sigh’ every time we get — it’s the body’s signal that signifies that everything’s all right.
Breakfast – Technology is fast-paced, not humans — so why do we try to keep up with technology? Skipping breakfast is the biggest mistake one can make in a day. It keeps you sluggish ‘til the next meal, plus, you’ll tend to eat more during the lunch time break.
Here are a couple more specific health notes:
That’s it for now. Watch out for my next installment!
Happiness is defined as an emotion associated with feelings ranging from contentment and satisfaction to bliss and intense joy. There are different ways that can make people happy. They can be for different reasons, either tangible or intangible. What will leave most of us in high spirits ? I believe these 3 things are what would make us put on out best smiles, just like when our photographs are being taken.

Making a lot of wealth while doing very small amount of work
Since humans are materialistic, we love buying things and eating in different restaurants. We would beyond doubt need a lot of money to be able to keep up with the lifestyle we want to live. Making a lot of money while doing minimal work would be fun, since I’d have so much time just relaxing and enjoying life spending like there’s no tomorrow.

Good relationships with loved ones
It’s only normal that we have some relationships that we have been burned. Although it is true that we can’t expect to get along with everyone, who wouldn’t want a world where everyone gets along right? I personally would want to get along with everyone if I could! And I would also want to be able to keep all the relationships I’ve made, if possible.

Stable health/Healthy
We have always been scared of finding out that we have some sort of deadly disease. And though we would want to be cured, even me, I would be really terrified to get cured because that entails you to knowing what deadly sickness you have and the worst part? People around you would also know. What I do not want about this is friends throwing sympathy on me. You know what would be nice? We all want to eat and do anything we want without having to worry about getting sick. This would really take away a few of the things I worry about.
Even in my growing belly state, my doctor still advised that I can exercise, and I should. At first, I hesitated for the reason that it might harm the baby inside for reasons I don’t know. But I guess, I am making my own ghosts so decided to do some little exercising around the house.
I have been exercising since my single girl days. But I have to admit that I am not a gym lover. First, because I am ashamed of exercising there in my spandex. There, little miss insecure. Second, my work was just too time-consuming that I just use that work-free time sleeping rather than trimming down in the gym.
So, I would like to share my home exercising equipment I take on the road that are enough to make you sweat out of physical exercise instead of anxiety over budget issues.
1. Dumbbells. Three to five-pound weights per hand are ideal for fitness beginners who want to improve muscle tone without bulking up.
2. Resistance bands. Essential for strength training, these lightweight, portable bands, can be adjusted to varying degrees of resistance and may be used for both upper and lower body exercises.
3. Exercise videos. Just be sure to pick one that has certified fitness instructors as advisers and matches your fitness level.
If you have a couple of coworkers who are into fitness, you can organize a fitness club and have a professional instructor who will most likely charge by the hour. More members spell less cost per person.
